The spokesperson for the Nigerian Senate, Ajibola Basiru, has said the Senate would start the consideration of the Finance Bill upon its receipt from President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday.
Basiru stated this on Monday, while explaining issues that the red chamber would be deliberating upon their resumption for plenary today (Tuesday), in an interview with newsmen.
Law Reporters had earlier reported that the Senate adjourned plenary on October 20 to work on the budget.
Meanwhile, investigations also revealed that the red chamber would also at plenary make its position known on the #EndSARS protests and its effects on Nigerians.
Another issue that might also dominate deliberations during plenary, is the recent revelation that the nation’s economy has gone into full recession.
