Nasarawa State House of Assembly has suspended the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Abdullahi Sule on Development Control, Stanley Buba to pave way for investigation on the activities of the state Urban Development Board (NUDB).
Speaker of the house, Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi announced this Wednesday on the floor of the Assembly after the governor’s aide appeared to answer questions bordering on the activities of his office.
The speaker said that the decision for his suspension was for him to step aside during the period of the investigation on the activities of the NUDB to avoid interference.
The Speaker therefore announced a six man investigative committee to include David Maiyaki as Chairman, Mohammed Okpoku as Vice Chairman.
Others include Suleiman Yakubu Azara, Daniel Ogazi, Abdullahi Angibi and Mohammed Bello Isa as members while the Secretary of the Committee is the Deputy Clerk to the House, Ibrahim Musa.
The speaker gave three months to the committee to work and submit its report to the House.
