An Ekiti State High Court, Ado Ekiti Division, has sentenced a 40-year-old man, Adedara Aladesugba, to life imprisonment for attempted murder.
Aladesugba was tried on a three counts of attempted murder, acts intended to cause grievous harm and assault occasioning harm.
To prove his case, the prosecutor, Bola Oyewole, called four witnesses and tendered exhibits, including a petition to the Commissioner of Police, photographs of the victim’s stomach, medical report and statement of the accused.
The convict, who spoke in his own defense through his lawyer, Yinka Opaleke, called no witness.
